Eleven years ago, Beachbody was created by CEO Carl Daikeler. Back then, telemarketing and retail outlets were the major advertisement tools used to promote their fitness and health products. Beachbody has created many of the most renowned and widely used in-home weight loss and fitness solutions such as Yoga Booty Ballet, P90X, and Kathy Smith's: Project YOU.

On 2007, Parent Partners LLC, the parent company, launched Team Beachbody which offered a contrasting business distribution model. Over the years, they have produced a line of premium fitness merchandise and nutritional supplements to aid clients maximize the results from each workout.
How is it different? Team Beachbody recruits and assigns representatives called coaches to independently sell and endorse their products. These coaches are also in charge of giving person-to-person support in the clients' weight loss and exercise programs.

Multilevel marketing is a structure designed to build a marketing force by compensating representatives both for the sales they make and for the sales of the reps they invite into the company.
Team Beachbody's Structure of Distribution
The representatives or promoters of Team Beachbody products are called Coaches. There is no prior education or experience necessary to be a coach. Most of the time, coaches are people who have experience losing weight or have used the Beachbody products.
Sales are through every independent coach's web site or through the coach himself. Team Beachbody handles the shipping, customer service, and billing so there is no need to worry. The parent company spends millions on advertising through infomercials on television. The leads generated by this are distributed down to the coaches in the location.
Coaches could also go deeper into the multilevel marketing industry through recruiting and preparing teams or a company of more coaches. If your team generates the right sales figures and activity, cash bonuses become more significant and more available.

I have had a few people in the last few weeks "tell" me what I do is a pyramid scheme and my question for anyone who is saying this ... What the heck is a pyramid scheme??? Do you even know LOL ... my guess is no! Also when did you look over the compensation policy with Beachbody LLC? K that’s what I thought... No for real though I totally understand that people jump the gun and speak about something before they really understand what it is or what it’s all about WE HAVE ALL DONE THIS but Here is my response if you have thought about Team Beachbody opportunity as a pyramid....
With a pyramid scheme the person at the top is the only making the money & its slimy/gross and with this business making money is a BONUS... actually one of my NEW coaches told me the other day she has already had so many positive changes in her life and she is happier and getting healthier and LOVING what she is doing and that the check is just a bonus so I know why and understand why others think this may be a scam and just wanted to explain why this business isn't... this is just people helping others and DANG RIGHT we are getting paid for it :) Proud to say that I am actually in a job that I LOVE ... there aren’t a lot of people out there that actually can say they LOVE their job... I hear most people complain about going to work on Monday and I’m EXCITED for it.
I love what we do as coaches and I’m so proud of anyone who has become a coach because they are doing something that is so positive and that could make a difference in so many lives :) This business has changed everything for me and every single day I am getting emails, thank you cards, etc from people who just want to thank me for helping them start their own fitness business by joining as a coach because they are debt free or are buying a new house etc and also from those who have FREAKING AWESOME weight loss stories ... I actually hang them on my wall at my computer desk to remind me WHY I am doing this... to HELP others because they NEED us and also to make be a better Mom, Wife, and all around better person :)
So obviously from reading what you have read above I AM NOT A SCAMMER and neither are the people who are in this business ... we are people who want to better ourselves and want to tell others about the things that are helping us get there and like I said above your BLEEP RIGHT we are getting paid for it and I’m proud of that! Are you living your passion?? Well we are :)
